My name is Fridolijn. I am a singer, songwriter and vocal coach. As a singer I performed on stages and festivals, such as North Sea Jazz festival, Concertgebouw, Paradiso, Billboard Live Tokyo, and the Tabernacle London. I released several albums and EPs. As a songwriter, in addition to my own music, I write for other artists and international DJs.
I have over 10 years of experience as a vocal coach. I taught at The Amsterdam Vocal Company, at the DSOPM (preparatory course at the Amsterdam Pop Conservatory), I have experience with audition guidance for, a.o. the conservatory. I coach professionals, but I also really enjoy helping enthusiastic hobby singers and young talents get going!

VISION
As a vocal coach, my goal is for you to learn to use your voice as freely as possible and with complete confidence!
In my lessons we dive into vocal technique and story telling. Together we investigate what your voice has to offer. We work together to build and expand a rich palette of timbres and techniques. You will learn how to best apply these and how to properly support them with a healthy voice technique.
I think it's important that you learn to apply this properly, so expect a hands-on lesson where you get plenty of opportunity to sing!
As your vocal coach my goal is for you to be able to use your voice freely and full of confidence. For this you need to know your own voice very well. The better you really get to know your own voice, the greater the confidence in your own voice grows and the more freely you can sing, and the better you can tell your story.
WHERE & WHEN
I teach on Mondays at building T85, Tugelaweg 85 in Amsterdam.
Lessons are scheduled in the afternoon or evening.
The building is easy to reach by public transport
and is a 5-minute bike ride from Amstel station.
Unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

Individual coaching - a 60 minute deep dive into your vocal technique and how to improve it. You'll receive exercises to practice at home and keep improving .

Individual workshop: 60 minutes - 60 euro
1 on 2 coaching. a 60 minute workshop for 2 singers. A more cost-effective way, and you can learn from each other.

Duoworkshop 2 persons: 70 minutes - 85 euro
Regular Singing Lessons - Training your voice on a regular basis, gradually learning and implementing more and more techniques, and finding joy in singing freely. Lessons are 60 minutes.

The listed rates are without VAT. The VAT rate for individuals above 21 years old is 21%. Lessons for individuals under 21 years old are VAT exempt.
